Looking for a unique yakiniku experience in Osaka? 🍖✨
Tenma Counter Yakiniku UshiSuki is a cozy spot with only counter seats, where you get your own personal grill and watch the chefs work right in front of you! 🔥
They offer authentic premium Wagyu beef at reasonable prices—courses start from just ¥3,300, and you can add an all-you-can-drink option for only ¥1,650! 🍺

I tried the “Omakase Special Course” and it was incredible! The set included top-quality tongue, kalbi, loin, harami, two kinds of offal, and lean cuts.
The harami was juicy and flavorful, and the beef tendon stew was absolutely the best! 😋
And don’t miss the grand finale—the Zabuton rice bowl topped with rare-grilled beef and a rich egg yolk...pure art in a bowl! 🎨🍚

Perfect for couples too! 🥰

Looking for a solid sushi spot right inside Shin-Osaka Station before hopping on your train?
You have to check out Sakanaya no Maru Sushi!
It’s run by a fishmonger, so you already know the seafood is going to be super fresh. 🐟💯

We tried their kaisendon (seafood bowl) for ¥1,650, and it was packed with all the goodies—uni, ikura, squid, salmon, shrimp, tuna, and more!
The salmon? Melt-in-your-mouth amazing.
The miso soup and pickled ginger on the side were the perfect complements.
It’s cozy, quick, and totally worth the stop.

A great choice whether you’re arriving in Osaka or heading out of town!

This hidden ramen gem is one of Osaka’s best-kept secrets—and it’s been selected as one of the top 100 ramen shops in Japan by Tabelog!
At NAKAGAWA WAZU, you get front-row seats to a ramen performance—watch the chef craft each bowl just a few feet away from you.
I visited just before 11:30 AM and luckily didn’t have to wait in line!
I ordered their famous Jidori Shio Ramen with a soft-boiled egg.
The broth? Crystal clear and packed with flavor.
The chashu? One slice of pork, one slice of chicken—both juicy and melt-in-your-mouth tender.
The noodles are bouncy and chewy, and the egg was perfectly seasoned.
This is the kind of bowl you finish before you even realize it—it’s that good.
Definitely a must-visit if you’re serious about ramen!

If you’re a ramen fan, this is a must-visit!
Tsukiyomi is famous for their rich, fish-based tsukemen (dipping noodles) and has even been selected as one of Tabelog’s Top 100 Ramen Shops in Japan.
I ordered their Special Tsukemen with 300g of noodles — you can also choose 200g or 250g.
The bowl came loaded with two thick slices each of pork and chicken chashu, plus a perfectly soft-boiled egg.
The noodles are slightly soft and soak up the thick, flavorful broth beautifully.
Don’t skip the condiments! Try the yuzu pepper or chili for a kick.
And for the perfect finish, ask the staff for rice and pour in the leftover soup — it turns into a delicious mini-risotto.
Top it off with a soup-wari, and you’ll be in ramen heaven!

Craving authentic Japanese udon that’s budget-friendly and delicious?
Marugame Seimen is the place to go! 🍥
They hand-make their udon noodles right in the store, and boil them fresh to order—so you get that perfect chewy texture every time! It's a self-serve style, so you can choose your favorite tempura and rice balls to match your bowl.
This time, I got their Kamatama Udon, topped with fresh egg and soy sauce—simple but SO flavorful! I added a huge Crab Stick Tempura (literally the size of my face 😆) and Juicy Chicken Tempura. The best part? It only cost ¥930! Total steal!
Free toppings like green onions and crispy tempura flakes make it even better. A sprinkle of chili powder takes it to the next level 🔥
Add this one to your Osaka food list—you won’t regret it!
